Can infinite ammo or god mode work in Marathon?

No. Marathon's authoritative servers control ammunition, health, damage, and inventory. Client-side stat changes are rejected. Any provider selling god mode or infinite ammo for Marathon multiplayer is selling tools that do not work online.
